Description

Uses of Durezol Ophthalmic Eyedrops 0.05%

Use this eyedrop in treating eye pain and further inflammation of the eyes brought about by surgery. Durezol Ophthalmic Eyedrops 0.05% plays an important role in preventing the possible release of many substances from the body that triggers inflammation and irritation. Durezol is marketed under the generic name Difluprednate Ophthalmic.

Precautions and Warnings

Durezol shouldn’t be used if you have glaucoma or even if treatment is in progress. If you are experiencing at least one eye infection, avoid this eyedrop as it can cause more complications and even infect your eyes more. Improper usage of this medicine can cause blurry vision and eye impairment.

Dosage

1 drop is enough in treating eye pain. However, it should be done at least 4 times a day. If you have just gone through eye surgery, the therapy duration is 2 weeks. If the response is good, the drops will be limited to 2 times a day only. Furthermore, if this treatment does not become successful, you will be prescribed another form of an eyedrop.
