Uses of Telmisartan 

Take Telmisartan to treat high blood pressure. This medicine is prescribed to help alleviate symptoms of hypertension. It is not given to children under 18 years old. This medicine is suitable only for adults and the elderly.

Telmisartan Precautions and Warnings 

Do not take this medicine if you have the following: 

• Heart disease
• Liver disease
• Kidney disease 

If you are pregnant, you are prohibited from using this medicine. It could potentially harm your unborn baby. Other than that, if you are allergic to Telmisartan and its ingredient, avoid using it. 

Telmisartan Dosage 

Take Telmisartan once a day. You can choose to take it with or without food. Always take this medicine as instructed by your doctor to ensure that your treatment is a successful one. Avoid skipped or missed doses as it can only affect the treatment. However, if you missed one dose and it is almost time for your next dose, follow your schedule by taking only your next dose for the day.
