Pulmicort is a type of medicine that offers individuals asthma treatment. It is administered using a nebulizer, which is a good method for children and even yourself if you experience asthma episodes. It is sold under the generic name Budesonide. 

This medicine works by preventing a series of inflammation from happening in both lungs. As asthma mostly occurs in children, it is suitable for those who are between six and twelve years old. Other than Pulmicort, Budesonide is also available under the brand names Rhinocort and Entocort.

As mentioned, children are mostly who experience asthma, which means that in the treatment process, parental guidance should always be observed. As for adults, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ensure that you have told your medical provider about your condition first.
