Uses of Parnate 

Parnate is a form of anti-depressant that has been proven to relieve symptoms of mental illnesses, most specifically depression. It works by restoring the balance of neurotransmitters, which is necessary for enabling the brain to work better and normally. Aside from depression, Parnate can also treat schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Other than these mental conditions, the same medicine can alleviate anxiety and mood swings. 

Parnate is available in its generic version Tranylcypromine. 

Parnate Precautions and Warnings 

If you are unable to use this medicine properly, your mental health could get worse. Other than that, if you are allergic to Parnate and its ingredients, avoid consuming this anti-depressant. Overdosage can also put you at risk of having different medical conditions, so make sure that you are following the instructions provided by your healthcare professional. 

Parnate Dosage 

Consume Parnate tablets orally. The dosage for this medicine is only 30 mg to be consumed on a daily basis. Dosage adjustment is possible if the initial dose does not work. The required increase is 10 mg of Parnate to be consumed 1 to 3 weeks from diagnosis.
