Uses of Nuvaring 

Use Nuvaring to prevent pregnancy. It is known by its generic name Ethinyl Estradiol and Etonogestrel. This is a type of flexible contraceptive vaginal ring that women can use for those who don’t have plans to get pregnant. It has a 99% effectiveness rate, making it an efficient product for birth control. 

Nuvaring Precautions and Warnings 

Avoid using Nuvaring if you have the following: 

• Heart problems
• Diabetes
• Jaundice (yellowing of the eyes and skin)
• High cholesterol
• High blood pressure
• Blood clots

Other than the mentioned conditions, note that this product cannot protect you against HIV and AIDS infection, even STIs or sexually transmitted infections. 

Nuvaring Dosage 

Insert Nuvaring into the vagina. The product must stay there for three weeks. You don’t have to remove it during sexual intercourse. In most cases, your doctor will be the one to insert the ring to ensure that it is inserted properly. Observe possible changes that you’ll experience to ensure that the treatment goes well.
