Humalog is available as a kwikpen, vial, and cartridge.

This fast-acting insulin is also known as Insulin Lispro Injection.

Humalog Precautions and Warnings

• Diagnosed with recurrent low blood sugar
• Allergy to Humalog
• Regular monitoring of your blood sugar
• Minimizing alcohol consumption
• Pregnant or planning to get pregnant

Humalog Dosage 

For type 1 diabetes:

• The common dosage is 0.5 to 1 unit/mL of Humalog to be consumed on a daily basis.
• This dosage will depend on the weight and blood sugar level.

For type 2 diabetes:

• The common dosage is 0.5 to 1 unit/mL of Humalog to be consumed on a daily basis.
• This dosage will depend on the weight and blood sugar level.

Note: Approximately 15 minutes before your meal, inject Humalog.
