Cipralex

Cipralex is administered in treating several psychological disorders, such as major depressive disorder (MDD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). It is available under the brand name Lexapro. 

Uses of Cipralex 

Cipralex’s active ingredient is escitalopram, which works by increasing the amount of serotonin in the body. It manages the mood, appetite, sleeping pattern, sexual interest, and social behaviour of a person. 

Cipralex Precautions and Warnings 

You are not allowed to consume this medicine if you are: 

• Under 12 years old
• Allergic to Cipralex and its ingredients
• Pregnant or planning to get pregnant

Cipralex Dosage 

Ingest Cipralex as directed by your doctor. The usual dose is 10 mg of this medicine to be consumed orally once per day. You can also choose to ingest it with or without food. Avoid two doses for one day. It will only add to the side effects of Cipralex. Do not stop taking this medicine unless you are told by your doctor or as stated in the prescription. 

Cipralex Side Effects 

Some side effects of this medicine do not stay for long. However, if these effects persist and become severe, contact your medical provider immediately.
