Bystolic

Part of a class of drugs known as beta-blockers, Bystolic is a form of medicine that provides medical therapy to people with hypertension. It is sold under the generic name Nebivolol. This prescription medicine is also available under the trade name Nebilet. 

Uses of Bystolic 

It works by lowering the blood pressure of an individual while also decreasing his/her chances of heart attack and stroke. It provides better blood circulation in the veins and arteries.

Bystolic Dosage 

For treatment involving hypertension, the required dosage will start at 5 mg of Bystolic to be consumed once per day. It can be ingested with or without food. In some instances where a patient would require more reduction in their blood pressure, the dosage will be increased to 40 mg per day.
